What about if you're a past Carnival cruiser, do they still have your info and do you get through quicker. I think I remember filling this out the last time we went. Do I need to do it again? And where do I fill it out?
When's the soonest I should fill this out. Not leaving til December, but I'm not one to procrastinate! As a matter of fact I going to get my passport (1st one ever!) next month. Does it sound like I excited? You BET I AM!!!!!
Our cruise isn't until next May (295 days away) - and I completed my fun pass a couple weeks ago. Yes - I am excited !! It's our second cruise - and this time, it did not ask for info regarding the passport - but I think that's probably because they DO have that from the last time.
They also didn't ask anything about the flight - but that's probably because we set up the flight through the TA/Carnival. I figured it would ask me flight info and I would have to hold off on the Fun Pass - but I guess since THEY know that I don't have that info until almost sailing time - no need to ask
All I need now is for time to pass... to get me to next May !!
We sailed in June from Jax Port and our check in time was lots faster I did the Fun Pass on line and it only took 5 minutes at the most to get checked in. We had our sail and sign card in hand in no time and we were sitting in the waiting section to board for those Lovely pictures to be taken.
Happy Sailing & Have a Wonderful Time
We just got back from our first cruise and we did not see any benefits to filling out the fun pass. It was never looked at or requested while on the boat. My guess is perhaps customs looks at it in your blue book when you arrive to get on your cruise. The blue book will have all your info concerning sail and sign, transportation ie., shuttle and itenerary and will be sent about a month out from carnival, before your cruise.
Lisa, just because you didn't get asked for it doesn't mean it was beneficial. It is never asked for while on the ship, just during embarkation. By filling out the info on line before you left, all your info was in their data base. If you had not and the people who do not fill it out before their cruise will be in a different line filling out the info while we "sail" past them, get on the ship and go to lunch before they do.

Truthfully I saw no difference using the FunPass at the Tampa Florida port. They had two lines for passengers. One who printed out the Fun Pass and the other who did not. I saw no difference. Both lines moved actually the same. We all had to show our passports and Id. Ro
they did not even ask for mine. it just puts info in the computer so the check in is a little faster. it might save a few minutes at check-in, but it is fun to print it out and see it. it makes you feel like the day you cruise is really getting closer. heheh
When they first began using the Fun Pass system it did allow you to move through the queue a little more quickly, however, as more and more people have completed this prior to their cruise I have noticed on the last few cruises the lines appear to be moving a little slower actually. Additionally, I am booked on the Legend in December and they did not ask for any passport information this time around when registering for Fun Pass.
