Default Teen Dress/Practical Advice

I'm trying to keep packing to a minimum and my biggest question is for my two boys ages 19 and 16. They're taking khakis and polos to wear for non-formal nights in the dining room. But I'm not sure how long they will be in them and whether they can do double duty if they only wear them for dinner and then change. So what has been your experience with teens after dinner? Do they stay in the dinner clothes for the clubs and entertainment or do they change back into casual clothes. This will help me decide on how much to take. Thanks for your help.

of course you can get double duty out of those outfits, 9 out of 10 kids will change into shorts and t-shirts after dinner to hang out with other kids. Pants always do double duty, shirts however, i do pack 1 clean one for each night.

My kids always change back into shorts and t-shirts after dinner. For a 7 day cruise I pack the boys:

1 suit w/2 shirts & ties
2 pr khakis
5 shirts with collars (my boys like the Hawain style shirts)
4 pr shorts
7 t-shirts
2 bathing suits
1 pr dress shoes
1 pr sandals (teva type)

On the plane down I have them wear their sneakers and bring a light jacket or sweatshirt and a baseball hat.

Sailed recently with my boys, ages 15 and 17. Their list was similar to Darcy's except they don't have a suit, so instead took dress pants, dress shirt and tie, belt and dress shoes. And yes, most teen boys change back into their shorts right after dinner.
