TO CA CRUISER, ABOUT OCHO RIOS VS. MONTEGO BAY JAMAICA

DEAR CA CRUISER, you mentioned you preferred montego bay to ocho rios the only thing i noticed is when the ship docks in montego bay it is really not a really pretty area, actually kind of ugly . everyone mentions that ocho rios is much more tropical and rainforest like with loads of flowers, foliage amd much prettier. i wish we could have seen that. we heard that montego is just another town in jamaica, where ocho rios is geared towards tourists and has much more of a vacation resort atmosphere. of course my friend, went tot he falls while in ocho rios for a week a half moon bay resort and said it was pretty but not the high point of her travels. she also said they were pickpocketed there and also had their credit card number stollen by a staffer in the hotel and handed out and had $1800 worth of charges when they got home.

oh well, we are home now and there is nothing we can do about it. i guess it would be great if you could see all of the little changes and things that were going to happen on these trips and could plan ahead about what to do. thanks for your info.
