Bungee cord?
Hello cruisers,
I keep hearing about using a bungee cord to prop the balcony door open at nite. How much does one usually cost? And how, exactly, do you use it to manipulate the door? Do you tie one end to the door and another to a nearby lamp? Thanks =) Jal |
Re: Bungee cord?
They are about 2 dollars, and we usually just hook the one end on the balcony door and hook the other end on the balcony rail.

Sleepwalkers beware. You may just launch yourself overboard. Might there be a good reason that the doors are not designed to be propped open?

In many cases on the newer ships when you open the Balcony door it shuts off the air conditioner so be warned. <G>

Thats right on the Legend we could not keep the door open as it did get the room very hot.

Re: Bungee cord?
Be careful using something to keep your door open while you are lets say do not disturbing.I bought my next door neighbor a drink in the casino when I seen him, because he&she really did entertain our deck level on numerous nights.Spit out some VERY expensive wine on one night trying not to laugh out.Never heard oohh so many times without completing a sentence.Enjoy your cruise.
