Does anyone know if a third person added to a room, who is military, would get the military rate. Do they even offer it for a third person since the price is already lower? We were booked on the Elation, and due to a dry dock have had to move to the conquest. I am sure the military fare isn't as low as we are paying due to circumstances, but we have a friend who would like to join us. I know her rate would be based on current conquest prices. I was just hoping the military fare might kick in.
thanks for any insight you might have.
Actually we just dealt with this and the answer was no. It is only for the first two in a cabin. We had to move my son to my parents cabin because a friend decided to come. The 3/4 price is higher in their suite so I thought we could use their military discount to lower my son's price to around where it was but no luck. We just had to pay the higher amount. Cindy
If there is a military person in the room, the whole cabin can get the discount (ok, 1st and 2nd, but if you split it 3 ways then) ... However, if you have already recieved a discount, you may find that the military discount is not as good and are better off with the first discount.
In otherwords, Carnival will only do 1 discount per cabin ...
