We will be on the Miracle over Thanksgiving this year. When we stop in Cozumel we are going to Paradise beach for the day. I heard that they have parasailing there and was wondering how much they charge and if there is an age or weight limit? My kids are 11, 12 and 15 and would like to try it.
I don't want to rain on your parade, but I would check out the safety of parasailing first. I parasailed some years back, and 1 week after I did it, a woman fell out of the harness and to her death. This is one of those excursions I would be more comfortable using a ships excursion if it is provided.
By the way, I was at Paradise Beach in Cozumel in March and I don't recall seeing any parasailing. Maybe it was at one of the nearby beaches?
I went parasailing at playa mia it was 50 or 60 dollars and we had the time of our life.
Take your water camera with you and when you get up in the air arms lenght out turn camera toward your face and shoot. This is the proof of you doing it. Then take pics of the view.
If you go to the playa mia website they tell you all the things they have. We booked the beach break thru carnival. Then paid extra for the parasaling.
Hope your kids have fun.
Dreaming of cruising and cruising to make my dreams come true.

Yes, you can't book the actual parasailing through Carnival, but you can book a beach excursion (or just go to a beach) and then book parasailing separately. In fact, Carnival will have several disclaimer-type ads in the Capers saying "we do not recommend parasailing because of the danger."
One of my sisters wants to parasail on our Dec all girls cruise.

I can't remember what we paid for the guys to parasail at Paradise Beach. I want to say 150.00 for the three of them, but I just can't remember. The Parasailing isn't actually at Paradise, but the guys who have the jet skis call over to another beach, and they come and pick you up at Paradise, and then when it is over, they bring you back.
I parasailed in St. Thomas last month while on RCCL cruise, sat on back of boat and went up, came down literally standing on my two feet. We did tandem parasailing and were dipped in Caribbean, it was an awesome experience, paid $79. I parasailed in Cape Cod going up the same way, I parasailed in Acapulco running off the beach and up...
wish I had thought to take my own picture when parasailing...will just have to go again!
