room service on carnival

hi!

i'm a bit confused about room service on carnival. is it entirely complimentary 24/7, meaning that i'd only have to tip the deliveryperson? or are there nominal fees depending upon what you order?

Room service is completely complimentary on Carnival. You should most definitely tip the waiter though. If you order an alcoholic beverage or soda, you will be charged. Even if you have a soda card, it doesn't come free if you order room service. You can however, get tea, coffee, apple, orange juice free. Probably lemonade too.........

Because of underage drinking, I've read that you can't order alcoholic drinks thru room service. Anyone know for sure?

you can order alcoholic drinks from room service, when they arrive you have to show your card and sign for it, if a minor orders booze and gives the waiter his/her card, the waiter will refuse to give them the alcohol.
