Default Passports revisited

Im still unclear is Cozumel and Calica considered Western Carribean which means passports next year or is it Mexico which means passports in 07

If I were you, I would go ahead and get them now. That way you won't have to worry if you have to have them or not, you will already have them.

They are both in Mexico but are usually visited while on a Caribbean cruise so it would be logical to get it now and be safe from worry. Also, the price will probably keep going up since they are going to be required for any travel soon.

I wouldn't be suprised if the cruise lines started requiring passports on all sailings for that very reason. Otherwise, your 4-5 day cruise to Mexico can easily become a cruise to nowhere.

They are considered Caribbean. You will need a passport to return to the U.S. So, you should get one if you want to return home.

Get the passport. I am sure they will require it as most ships also go to other ports in the Caribbean and even if they are not scheduled they may be diverted for some reason. A passport should be a required thing to have.
