Scooter Rentals in Cozamel

The last time I was in Cozamel, my friends and I had a wonderful time renting scooters and traveling around the island. I am taking my husband there in September and want to reserve scocoters ahead of time, but I can't find any links online to do so.

Does anyone have the email or web address of a rental agency that they used and were satisfied with, that they can give me? The one I used waws right down the street from the military base, but I can't remember it's name.

There are so many people renting scooters when you get off the ship, I don't think reservations are necessary.

I don't remember them being very expensive. A friend paid for mine, but I think it was less than 50.00 US.

I remember scooter rentals being near the ship when we were there in January, and if they aren't there now, a taxi driver can point them out to you. Beware...........the ship's port talk will advise you not to rent scooters because of the chance of accident.........remember they drive sort of crazy around there!

they are fun but dangerous. Some friends of our went on a cruise, and got into an accident, and he had to be hospitalized for ten days in greece because they had to remove his spleen!! They had to fly back etc... etc.... etc.... better to take a cab i think.

dont pay more than U.S. $25 for a scooter and they can often be had for less. Dune buggies and VW beetles can be rented for $35. Bargian for the price and walk away if they dont give you what you want.
