I always take a huge pocketbook tote and my carry on so I doubt a fanny pack would be considered as the prime carryon unless they changed things. Maybe they just don't say anything to me who knows? . I do it this way for the airlines to. If they do say something you could always stuff the fanny pack in the top of the carry on NO rules that says the carryon has to be closed or zipped right? Ro

I wear my fanny pack this way it is not a carry on. or if I need I can put it in the Carry on This way on way home I can carry my back pack and carry on On the air plane. I use a back pack in ports to carry everything and have hands free,

your fanny pack is not considered a carry-on on the airplane. Each person is allowed i believe one personal bag and 1 carry on to bring on the plane. MY fanny pack is my personal bag and the camera case is DH's personal bag

put your fanny pack inside your carryon then youdo not have to worry about it...that is what I do......then take it out in the cabin and head on deck for a fofo drink
