We are sailing on the 25th. We were originally booked on the Elation, but had to rebook. looking forward to Montego Bay. Only 13 more days !!!

I will let you know when we get back. Galveston looks like it might be fun although we have had to purchase airline tickets which added $400+ to the cost of our vacation! Oh, well...a new experience and anyway, we are so truly blessed!

My DH and I will be on the Conquest leaving out of Galveston on the 25th. We are getting very excited. It will be our first cruise and we are celebrating our 25th anniversary. We had to make flight arrangements to Houston since Katrina and added to the cost of our trip but we are just so glad to still get to cruise. Anyone else from Arkansas going? Go Hogs!!!

When will you arrive? We are getting there Saturday afternoon (from Memphis). Apparently the taxi ride is about $80 to Galveston.
We got our docs yesterday and are really pumped!

Carnival usually offers transfers from the airports to the ships for less then the taxi. You might even be able to get them to come down in price do to the circumstances - however - we googled online for a limo and found a van company that was 1/2 price of a taxi and/or Carnival - just a thought
