Default Rita, here we go again..!!!!

I am about to give up on my cruise on the Conquest.... Going on Oct. 30th & Conquest was moved to Galveston.... Now looks like Rita is heading to Galveston..... I think I will start cruising in Feb. to avoid all of the storms...

Bob, Don't give up yet. If you do, you will cause me to loose hope. Let's see what happens.

We have friends in Key Largo and so far it has not been that bad. I expect they should be okay with minimal damage. As for later on in the week when it comes back ashore...who knows. I have this terrible thought that God is really ticked off at someone from NO and is looking for him/her again when they were taken to Houston! Seriously folks. These people in that area have been through some terrible times as of late and I really hope Rita either blows out and fades away of at least hits an unpopulated area. Prayers go out to them.
24 cruises and counting!

Jim - I hope and pray you are right and it fades away. Maybe he just wants another crack at New Orleans Major.... I sure hope it doesn't come to Houston. Since most people are evacuated already from Katrina New Orleans would be safer for most people including the evacuees that are here in Texas. Please hope it doesn't come here. Somewhere unpopulated would be wonderful! Here on the SW side of Houston the stores are already sold out of water and the Home Depot has lines. One good thing about Katrina is it sure woke the Gulf Coast up - last year no body would be even thinking about the storm yet. I filled my car up mainly because I was afraid the gas would got up.
