Cutting duct tape - swiss knife??
I know I can clip the plastic cable ties with nail clippers, but how can I cut the duct tape. Can I board the ship with a swiss knife?? Any suggestions out there?? Thanks.

Duct tape can usually be ripped pretty easily. If not, just clip it with the nail clippers and rip it. I have never had a problem ripping duct tape. They also have duct tape strips. I got mine at WalMart.

I'm a little confused, what do you need to cut duck tape for on a cruise?
|
You duct tape yourself in the room, and they let you stay longer. If you don't cut it finally, they make you wash dishes

There's no problem taking a scissors on the ship, just not on the plane. Put a pair of small scissors in an outside pocket of your [b][i]CHECKED bag.

LOL Luanne,
Maybe I can try that on our next cruise :!: Tred, You can use duct tape for lots of things. Some I can think of right now are: To mark your luggage so it's easier to find at debarkation. If cabinet doors or drawers tend to "bang", a piece of duct tape will stop that! If part of a hem comes out-duct tape it! What else :?: |
considering they give you steak knives at dinner i highly doubt they would even flinch at a swiss army knife

You can pack just about anything you wish (within reason) in your "checked" luggage. I always pack some small scissors.
As strong as DUCK TAPE is, it's easy to rip. No real need for scissors or a knife. Why take Duck Tape? If something happens to your luggage, you can TAPE it together enough to get it back home! You can buy small packets of Duck Tape that are very easy to take along with you. |
