Default Golfing in Belize?

Curious, has anyone taken a golf excursion in Belize and was it worth it?

We did the golf excursion to Caye Chapel Resort in Belize. An INCREDIBLE experience.
Starts out with a 7 minute flight from Belize.

The ocean is in view on every golf hole, and the tradewinds are blowing. The entire island is the golf course and villas for the resort.

OH.. and here's a warning sign in the clubhouse

Great pics Kuki! What a neat looking golf course. If you don't mind me asking, is the course any good, do they have half decent club rentals and how much did the whole thing cost you?
Thanks
Dave

prankster, on your question about club rental I
believe you can rent clubs right from carnival and
I think the clubs are either callaway or taylor made
check with the golf instuctor on your cruise as I
think you can get everything on the ship

Thanks for the info on the rental clubs Mikee. You too Brandy. I checked the Carnival website. Looks like a $300.00 golf game. Time to start saving. I will be hitting Belize the week of Jan. 8/06 on the Valor.
