You might want to try searching this board for "dress code" or "jeans in the dining room". It's a frequently debated topic.

Depends on the dress code for the evening. Look in the daily Capers. Our last cruise we had a 50's - 60's Sock Hop theme and many came in their jeans and another night was Klondike Kountry, yep, many dressed in jeans. These were nice jeans, not faded or ripped. We usually have jeans with us because we do pre and post cruise stays.

Honestly. Best not to. They are not going to turn you away, but most people don't.

Capris are a very "grey" issue - they are more than shorts but not quite trousers. Personally i think that jean capris are too casual for the main dining rooms even on casual nights(i think of picnic or backyard bbq wear when i think of denim capris). Nice pants, capris of a dressier fabric (like linen) a skirt with a nice top or a sundress would be better choices.
Clothing is a really "hot" topic on these boards, so i am sure that you will get all kinds of responses

I don't think jean capris will be a problem, esp. on the first or last night when I've noted dress is the most casual. It sounds like you've got the right idea to dress them up with a nice top and maybe some bling earrings and you should be set to go. Relax and enjoy!

I'm with Lisa. I think casual when I think of denim.

I've worn jeans to dinner many times and I have noticed many women wearing capris, so I don't think jean capris would be a problem on non-formal nights.
