Default Who to call RE: table request?

Just booked a suite thru Carnival direct (because I THOUGHT they would be able to help with this particular issue better than a TA) and asked the person I talked to about getting a table for 2. Am taking my sister on her first cruise for her 40th birthday and don't really want to sit with other people...personal preference. Anyway, I made this request and the person I spoke with said I'd have to talk to the maitre'd onboard......hmmmmm......anyone know of anyone I can call at Carnival and make this request ahead of time?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have

They told you correct. All you can do right now is put in a request for a table for 2. They are usually given to newlywed couples or couples celebrating their anniversary. The tables for 2 are also in the worse locations like a corner or walkway area. Once on board, go to the dining room and speak with the Maitre D'. There will probably be a line of cruisers making changes. Maybe you would be happy with a small table for 4? Much easier to come by and less people to talk to.

I've had a table for 2 before in an excellent spot, no holiday or celebration involved...am hoping to find some way to arrange on this time, too - thanks!

Default Table for 2

Yes, you can request it to your PVP or to your TA. But, when it all comes down to it, you'll more than likely have to talk to the Maitre'd .

On the other hand, I have meet some great people at our table, and years later, we still keep in touch.

Good luck and happy sailing to you both;
