Valor Room Lighting?

Got a question about the amount of light in a Valor balcony cabin. My hubby and I are both picky about having rooms well-lit (partly because our eyes are getting old! <G>). We're SO picky about it that we've been known to pack our own 100 watt lightbulbs in our luggage!

So...how bright is a balcony room? No, no, I know it will be fine during the day - I'm talking about the artifical light, at night! Are the 3 little lamps that you see in a stateroom when you look at Carnival's website enough to light the room up? Are there other lights in the room?

Advice please....and thanks!

Anni,

We just got off the Valor on the 9th, we had a balcony room as well. I found it to be brighter than on the Triumph. They had two nightstand lights, then an over head light, and then one over the mirrors and dressers. I thought it was plenty bright, most of the time, we only had the over head light on.

Good luck, and enjoy the Valor, she is my favorite ship yet! Josh Riffle is a great CD as well!!!
