Default Lobester in Main dining room

We're going on the Spirit in Mid-November. Do they serve lobster in the main dining room and can you order more than one?

Thanks

Yes, many people do just that. Also the lobster they serve is just the tails and it is spiney lobster and not maine lobster.

Default Lobster

I found the lobster tails to be very rubbery. They allowed you to have as many as you desired. My fiance' had 3. Ro

What Jim Said.... spiney lobster. Was still pretty good though!

I thought about getting seconds, but if you do the "full course" there just isn't room! You want to save room for desert!

There is usually Prime Beef, A pasta dish, Quail, and a fish selection. And of course, you can order a steak and baked potato any night. It isn't on the menu but it is available. I tried to copy and paste the menu here, but couldn't get it to work. You can go to webshots and do a search for cruise ship menus and find the one I viewed.

Default Lobster in Main Dining Room

We've cruised on Carnival at least 17 times and we always order 3, 4, 5 . . . use your imagination. Just remember as your waiter will inform you, that lobster is only available one night -- the night of the captain's cocktail party, not the gala night.

Texas no go to the dining room on lobster night. I love lobster but my tail was rubbery but it was very tasty as well as my fiance's tail. He ordered three others and never had a problem asking or receiving extras. They are so nice about everything you ask for including extras. There was also wonderful exciting things other than the lobster to eat also! Don't miss out on that night. RO

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Texas you didn't say in your post you were allergic to lobster. We can't have you ruining your cruise by blowing up from some allergic reaction. Enjoy our cruise avoid the blowing up part the night they serve lobster. Remember they serve other kinds of shellfish different nights to so watch what is being served! Ro

Don't worry Ro....I'll just go settle myself up on the deck and munch on some Pizza or a Deli sandwich. I'm also taking my antihistamine as a percaution too!

as long as there isn't any shell cracking going on, the Bisque will be fine.

And yes, Prime rib is to die for!
