Default Sunset at Galveston Harbor !!

You can watch the cruise ships come in & leave at this web Cam page....

It is a beautiful sight. I watch it just about ever Sunday, and never get tired.

Well you have my kids hooked Luanne, they talked of it again Friday, so it looks like we are planning a couple bags of pop corn, and the Miracle at 7 and 4 from Tampa, and then the sunset, Dolphins, (pelican,pelicans the 2 yr old insists) and Galveston. Enjoy

I am glad they are hooked. What a wonderful time for you and your young family to have some time together. For those who are reading this, Venice said he would do a banner to us on Sunday, so if you want to see it, watch around 6:00 on Sunday @ Galveston.com.

That is the Royal Carbbean Rapsody I think. Conquest comes in tomorrow morning, and Elation will be in on Monday morning.

Default Galveston

I do like this web cam I'm with you luanne, I can sit and watch all the ships come and go. I watch the Conquest slip in earlier . Then sometimes , go to the submarine site, and watch them go by.

Happy sailing all;
David

The Sail boat is the Elissa. she was made in 1877 in Scotland. The three masted sail boat is one of the few left from that era. I got a chance to board her many, many years ago. Here is the link for her.

I feel so cheated............I live in a rural community and only have access to dial-up internet so I cannot see the pictures you all can.........I only see the tip top of the ship,then the next pic starts to load .......so it goes.....I guess I will have to wait to see it in person in Jan/06.

I never get tired of watching it. I am glad that the time will change for our cruise. I love leaving the harbor, and at this time, you can't see much.

I watched the Conquest sail away earlier this evening - too cool. The only thing that would be better is if we were on her

Thanks BobM for posting the link.

I haven't figured out how many more I have to watch. Probably about 4.

I too welcome you home Venice, and those who were brave enough to cruise with him.

I'll miss the sailing this time. Got to take the wife out to eat for her birthday.
For as a sign, she will have to wave something big, or of bright color. (such as a flag ) at a certain time. That would be neat

Happy sailing to all;
David

What about a flash light? I don't know if I can get close enough, to do anything else. I know I can get closer for the Elation trip. That will be the following Monday after I get back from Conquest.
