Good question!

When you receive your cruise documents (tickets, luggage tags, etc..) you get so excited you start to jump up and down then do a little dance! So the term is 'doc dancing'.

It means you have received your tickets and are one step closer to your cruise.

Thanks for the info!! I kind of wondered if that is what it meant. I've heard my documents are coming tomorrow via fed ex. I think I've been doin the dance the last couple of days in anticipation!!

lv2boat - there are no dumb questions - but there may be a few dumb answers

Among us cruisers the doc dance is, indeed, a long sought after ritual. Some do the Cruising Conga, others do the Sail Away Samba while I prefer the Ticket Tango

No matter what you decide to do or how you decide to celebrate - enjoy the feeling of getting those docs in hand - and reading them over and over again.

DOC dancing comes AFTER Fed Ex chasing, where your documents are imminent, and you see the Fed Ex (or UPS) truck driving around your neighborhood, so you follow them to see if they have your STUFF!!

People just get WAY too excited!! (Including me!)

I once did the Doc Dance on my bed. I discovered how low the ceiling fan hangs. Now I wear a flat top.

Default Dumb Question

Docs usually come about four weeks before the cruise give or take a day or two or three in my case and still waiting. No worry, I'm patient and calm...NOT!
