Default Online shore excursion booking


I'm trying to book shore excursions online at the Carnival website for my cruise on Nov. 20, but I keep getting an error message stating one of the tours is not available, yet no matter which one I delete, I get the same message. Has anyone had any experience booking the Carnival tours online...are they really all filled up already? This is the first time I have tried pre-booking...previous cruises we have booked when we boarded and never had a problem. Thanks for any insight.

Do you mean 'select' or delete? I am a bit confused but that isn't unusual.

I meant no matter which one I deleted from the shopping cart... whichever combination I tried...it still gave me the same error message. I know it's close to cruise time, but the tours I chose were pretty generic tors. I can't believe they would be filled.

we always book are shore trips when we get on the ship never had any problems i think it is just easier

Depending on the location, the operator of the excursion could be temporarily out of business because of hurricane damage.

There is also a time period when you can book excursions on-line, sometimes when within 10 days, you can't. If not, just book when you get onboard, you can even use your cabin TV.

Thanks...I ended up calling Carnival and was told some of the listed excursions are indeed sold out. I was able to book 2 of my 3 choices. Thanks for your help!
