Default Transportation from FLL to cruise ship pier

I haven't contacted Carnival to set up a shuttle service but have done this route in the past. Just curious with the two mile drive if a cab is quicker and easier with giving and receiving luggage. Our flight gets in to FLL the day of at 1241. Curious as to others thoughts that have done FLL before. I've only done Miami a couple of times. TIA!!

Don't bother with the transfers, just grab a cab. There are plenty of cabs available, it will be cheaper, faster and more convenient than waiting for the shuttle bus. The pier is a 10 minute ride from the airport.

Default FLL to port

luv2boat just returned from the nov.12 sailing on the liberty
and from the pier to the airport it was $7 per person on one of those
shuttle buses like the parking garages use. can't imagine
it costing more than $10 per person in a taxi.

Its actually much quicker and most likely cheaper to just get a cab, very short ride and even with the transfers, you still need to collect all your luggage, go with the cab.

Thanks for the info on cabs. I have a group of about 30 persons and thought maybe a local shuttle or bus service might be a better option, any advise or contact info???

Thanks Phazer59 for that site. I did contact them and they have good rates. We will be using them for our 4/1/06 Liberty sailing....
