I was just wondering how old is the ship? Also I went on the Victory..I was wondering if it is just As nice. I know it is smaller than the Victory but I dont even know that I would be able to tell. I have a 10 year old daughter, I know they have Camp Carnival, but on the website the Camp Carnival photo looked like it just catered to small children.
Anyhow knowing people love the ship makes me look forward to it!~Joann
Joannfla, we were on the ship in 1994 when it was brand new.
as far as camp carnival the ages are anywhere from 2 to 17 and
broken down into age brackets.

Hi there,
I've included some basics about the ship. I hope it helps.
The fascination is not as new or big as your last cruise. I dont have any kids so I couldnt tell you much about Camp Carnival, but everytime I have been on her there has been kids of every age group.
We have been on that ship twice. First time was when she was doing the Southern Route and it was fantastic and we met a number of people including crew that we remain close to even now. The second time was when she did a 3 day to the Bahamas and we went with a crewmember and her family as a surprise for them. Again a very enjoyable time but three day cruises are not what we care for. The ship is a Fantasy class ship which was highly successful and well laid out in my opinion and easy to get around on. Lots of deck space as well so enjoy. One of the nicest things we found to do on this class ship was to take breakfast outside on the very aft of the ship. Quite pleasant.

We too are going on the Fascination. We leave the day after Christmas. Does anyone know if the have the sandwich station like the Valor has? One other question.... Do they have a sports bar or anywhere we could get the NCAA games that we will be missing while on the ship? Thanks!
If it is like the Sensation, which s another Fantasy class ship it will have the deli sandwiches right next to the pizza counter at the back of the Lido Buffet. on your right as you face the back of the ship.
