Default Cozumel accepting ships/passengers??

Just wondering if Carnival is stopping at Cozumel since hurricane
Wilma. I have seen the extensive damage from pictures on the web.
We are booked on a cruise next spring and one of our ports is Costa
Maya, which will change back to Cozumel when the island starts
accepting ships/passengers. At this point I would rather go to Costa
Maya and visit Uvero Beach again.
I'm just wondering if anybody has any information??

They are accepting ships. I am told that it gets better as time goes by. It's not like it use to be, but many improvements in the last couple of weeks. If you would like more info, go to Cozumelinsider.com They will update you.

I too have heard they are accepting a certain amount of ships each day, but you need to tender yet, until the piers are repaired.

Default Cozumel accepting ships/passengers

Its true, many ships are scheduled for Cozumel each day, however RCCL has changed that for some of their voyager class ships. We will be there 12/13 and will probably go to Paradise Beach. It is free with an $8 charge for water toys if you want them. I have read many good things about Paradise on the web.

If you will go to the site I stated above, they will tell you what ships are in for the week and when.

I just got back from a cruise aboard the Carnival Triumph and we did go to Cozumel. They tender passengers to shore and it was a disaster. Bear in mind that it's only the 3rd week they were tendering but the wait was very long... Some passengers waited over 2 hours to get back on the ship. When we arrived, there was 2 other ships in Cozumel but the piers are completely destroyed.

If someone can show me how to add pics, I can add a few of the damage.
