Default January weather in Acapulco/Ixtapa/Manzanillo??

It's almost time to think about getting the suitcases down and start packing for our January 3rd cruise to Acapulco/Ixtapa/Manzanillo. I've checked several websites and from what I can gather it should be fairly warm in all 3 locations....low to mid 80's is what is says for year round annual temps. Can anyone tell me if this is accurate? Will there be any chance of rain? We were in Cabo/Puerto Vallarta/Mazatlan last November and it was extremely warm.....so I'm hoping this time will be the same. Thanks

The best weather we ever had was a Feb 1 sailing to the Riviera, so you should be just great, and much less humidity.

We did this cruise last Jan. The ports are warm, not hot. San Diego all the way to the Cabo area was a little chilly, once you get farther south than that it warms up quite a bit. Have fun!

Hotheels, I agree with Bigger, but only the first day at sea was chilly -- it was sublime the second day at sea.

We just cruised the Spirit Dec. 10th-18th. The further south we got, the more tropical the weather became.

When we left San Diego it was sunny and warm -- unusually so, actually. The first full day at sea was overcast, but warm enough -- and windy! The second day at sea was a little bit sunnier and warmer, getting very nice by the afternoon. Tuesday we were in Zihuatanejo and it was hot and beautiful!

Acapulco on Wednesday was also hot. We wished we had gone snorkeling somewhere! Instead we shopped and saw the cliff divers...

Manzanillo was great. Where the ship dock's is a commercial port -- so not exactly scenic, but a taxi will take you to the beach from the movie "10" if you wish

Best snorkeling a short water-taxi ride from there....we saw much more sea life than we ever have elsewhere -- including octupus (octupi?)....

Weather, again, hot, water warm.....you will love it!

The two days at sea returning to San Diego, it got cooler and cooler. It was rather chilly when we arrived in San Diego on the 18th...
