I'm getting ready to book the Valor for next Thanksgiving. I have at my option cabin 6450, 7434, 7442, 7444, 7446, 8450, 8452, 8454. These are either extended balconies or large balconies and are located near or at the very back of the ship (aft). Any advice? My only concern is not being able to see the islands as we approach, but I do like the idea of the larger balcony. Should I have any concerns? Thanks!

Dear Chris M,
I will try to help you with your decision. Cruised on Valor last April, cabin
# 8202. If you are prone to sea sickness, then I suggest you get the
6450. It is on a lower deck on the port side and looks like a roomy cabin.
7434 would be nice too. If you choose the back of the ship, I would get
one of the cabins on the end, this way you can see the port and not be
caught in the middle where you can't see to the right or left. If I were going
to choose, it would be 7434. It has an interesting shape, big balcony, and
port side. Valor is a great ship with lots of history all around you. You will
love it.
Happy Sailing..........
We loved sailing Valor last year. We had a great time and the food is very good. We chose one of the extended balconies; they are longer, but not any wider than a regular balcony. In Carnival's catalog you can see a blank space next to these balconies. It turns out it was ice storage. We only used half the balcony and we laughed about choosing it.
