Hotels that provide transportation to Port of Miami

Does anyone know of any nice hotels in the Miami aiport area that would provide complimentary transportation from the hotel to the Port of Miami? Most of the ones I am checking on only provide pickup service at the airport.

Hi Sandy,
When we pre-cruised in Miami, we too didn't have a hotel that provided that service. We were close enough to the pier, that a short $10 taxi ride was all we needed. If you get a hotel that is close, you may just have to do the taxi. What hotels are you looking at? We stayed at the Radisson and the ride to the port was just a few minutes.

Donna,

In the past, we have stayed at the Crowne Plaza. It's 10-15 minutes from the airport. In the past, we have used the Super Shuttle service to pick us up at the hotel and take us to the port. But this time, we wanted to find a hotel that would provide complimentary service. Was the Radisson you stayed at nice? Were there any nice restaurants within walking distance of that hotel?

Hi Sandy,
Yes, we got the Radisson by booking through Priceline, so we did save some money there. They did have a restaurant in the hotel, just had breakfast there, it was fine. The area right around the hotel didn't look all that safe, so we didn't really walk around the area, although we did take a ride to Bayside for dinner, there was a van you could take there for a dollar or 2 per person and they ran on a schedule, came back with them too.

We stay at the Inter-Continental, and if I remember correctly, they have a shuttle, but there may be a nominal fee. It is about a 10-15 min drive from there.
