My husband and I will be sailing in Oct. with our 15 month old. (she is what happened on our last cruise). We NEVER thought we would have kids, I guess it was the salty air ha ha. But any way we LOVE to cruise and still want to enjoy it but it will so different. Does anyone have any advice on ANYTHING. Do they have high chairs in the dining rooms? I want to take her to dinner, but if she cries or acts up I will leave with her so she will not disturb anyone. THANKS!! This is all so new to me
Befus, Call Carnival and let them know. I am pretty sure that the dining rooms have high chairs, but not sure. Be sure to bring all the extras babies need. You won't be able to get in a regular pool with the baby, but you can get the blow up pools for almost nothing, and take it with you. A few extra toys, and your set.
I am positive I saw high chairs in the dining room on the Liberty. For more info on cruising with infants, go to People and look for the Family Cruising thread. Especially things written by alison1170. She has lots of experience. Good luck. Who knows or becareful, you might bring home "another cruise souvenir". ! Enjoy.

They do have high chairs in the dining room. There is also babysitting available for an hourly fee in Camp Carnival on mornings when the ship is in port and in the evenings after 10 p.m. until 3 a.m. Don't forget sippy cups unless your little one has mastered drinking out of a cup without a lid. (In the dining room they offer cups with lids and a straw, but in the buffet areas all they have are plastic cups without lids. Also you don't have to worry so much about packing extra clothes for the baby "just in case" Carnival's ships have self-service laundries $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. Bring a cheap umbrella stroller as it is $30 to rent one on board. Oh also bring a quart juice bottle if your little one likes to have a drink at bedtime or in the morning when she wakes. You can fill the bottle up with apple juice and take back to the room and have it handy at bedtime and it will be there in the morning.
Have a great time!
