Gold Card???

While flipping through a Carnival brochure, I noticed that it says, “Returning guests receive a gold card�?. Is this true? If so how many cruises have to be under your belt, and what are the benefits?

You get the gold card on your second cruise. You get a Platinum on your 10th cruise.

Not aware of any perks for Gold cards, but they are working on implementing things like VIP Check-in, Priority Dining Assignments, Priority Spa Bookings, Soviners and/or food delivered to your cabin one day for the Platinum card holders. From what I understand, they hope to have these in place sometime in the first quater of this year.

I have read about the gold card also but have sailed with Carnival 3 times in the past and never received a gold card. I sail my 4th time with Carnival on Feb 12th on the Liberty. Let you know if I get a gold card.

Thats great Since I'm about to go on my 3'rd Carnival cruise in May 2006, maybe I'll get one then.

I believe the "gold card" distinction just started about 2004 so if you haven't cruised Carnival since then you might have the old red white and blue ones.

Tiamaria, I have sailed with Carnival three times myself and I have received a gold card the second and third time.
