Default Valor Bar Crawl

Hear that the Valor offers a Bar Crawl.

Has anyone participated in this activity? If so, can you fill us in on the process.

We understand that there are 22 bars/lounges on this ship. Do you visit each one?

Also, would love to hear of some of the other activities onboard the ship to keep you busy.

How about programs for pre-teens. We have children ages 11-17 traveling with us and they are looking for activities offered for them.

Thank you for your help.

We did this on the Mariner of the Seas, over 200 ppl and it was a blast. We had Kirk Detweiler, a great CD, who knew how to have fun and involve everyone!

How do you find out if other ships do this? And what does it entail? I mean, how can they make this rather natural activity into a group activity? Anyone know if the Miracle does it?

We have only seen it done on 1 cruise. I think it depends on the CD. Ours was a singer and he would sing at each venue. It was fun.

I was on the Valor in March of 2005 and did participate in the pub crawl. They worked it so if you wanted to participate you had to be at the Lindy Hop Piano Bar between a certain time to sign up and they just put a name tag on you to signify you were part of the pub crawl. Because we were with the pub crawl group we got discounted drinks from the rest of the passengers that night (thats why we had to wear the tags). If I remember correctly after the Lindy Hop we moved onto the Eagles Lounge, then onto Winston's Cigar bar, then to the casino bar. At the casino bar we had a singing contest of the women against the men and we sang 'Summer Love.' I do recall there was another part of this whole thing where you got points for your color team but I was not too into that whole thing so I really wasn't bothering with that. Unfortunately the casino bar was my last stop on the pub crawl but I know they did go onto another bar or two after this, I just didn't make it any further. It was great fun and I would do it again in a second.
