Glory embarkation time and Nassau immigration laws
Sailing on 2/18 Glory out of Pt. Canaveral. Have heard that you need immigration papers for Nassau, our first port. Got my documents yesterday but nothng in there about Nassau.
Also, confused as to what's the best time to board the ship. We'd like to get there early as we don't want to miss a thing!
If you can arrive at the pier around noon, you should be able to embark around that time. As for the Nassau papers, they will give them to you, so don't worry about not having them. I think on one cruise, they had sent those with the docs.color]
The papers for the Bahamas have nothing to do with your passport. You still have to fill them out no matter what kind of ID you have for leaving the country (and more importantly, getting back in).
When you leave you will need to declare the value of anything you bought in the Bahamas.
Both forms are given to you onboard, one when you arrive at the ship and one before you leave when your cruise is over, so no worries.
We usually arrive at the ship around 11:00 and are almost always onboard by noon or before. That way you have plenty of time to eat lunch and explore the ship before sailaway.

The cruise line nor the U. S. has nothing to do or say about you filling out the small form for immigrations re / the Bahamas. It's the Bahamian Gov. that requires it. You probably will get it when you board the ship.
