Default What time to show up

We are going on a cruise for the first time on the Carnival Pride, how early should we show up for departure? Thanks for your help and any tips you can give two newbies.

Try to arrive anywhere from 2 to 4 hours before the ship pulls out. That gives you plenty of time for snafus and allows you to explore the ship.

Well, not knowing what time your ship is scheduled to leave port, we always do well by getting there at 11am for a 4pm departure

It gives us time to explore the ship, eat our first (of many) buffet lunch on board, acquaint ourselves with the cabin and ship layout, and most of the time even unpack (if the luggage gods have smiled on us) By the muster drill and then sail-off, we feel we are very prepared for our first night of fun fun fun!!!

It's a wonderful timeline for us!

Same Here! We always go around 11 a.m. One thing, put your bathing suits in a carryon if you want to use the pool. Your luggage won't be to your room right away and lose a day around the pool!!! Enjoy and I hope you have a wonderful cruise!!!
