I doubt if you will even notice this group on board, unless you frequent the clubs. 259-500 isn't going to be too noticeable on a ship as large as Destiny.

I had a group of over 800 on my Conquest cruise, and we rarely noticed they were on board. Only time we really seen them was in the casino.

They will have their own private parties set up in one of the clubs. Sometimes they will have parties in the showroom if the group is really big.

Most of these groups will also do their own private shore excursions using a separate company from Carnival. So there shouldn't be a problem with shore excursions if you book early.

Hi arie,

Like Irish Girl, I wouldn't worry! With over 3000 passengers even 500 in a group won't be very obvious.

I'm not sure what your question is about St. Patrick's Day, but I've never heard of anything special for that day. That doesn't mean they won't do something-I've just never heard of it !

I think you'll have a wonderful cruise!

St. Patrick's day celebrates Irish history. Usually with parades and the Irish pubs always do a big business on that day. Lots of Irish music and anything that embraces the Irish culture.

I doubt they will do anything on the ship for St. Patrick's day.

We were on the Disney ship one year during St. Patrick's day, and they had green beer. Maybe that is what this ship will do.
