Default Vancouver Embarkation

Does anyone know if the embarkation process in Vancouver has improved any? Last time we went, 2 years ago, it took us almost 3 hours to get on the ship. The hard part was getting on the plane at 7:00 A.M., then not being able to eat again until around 4:00P.M. Just needing to know if I should bring food for the kids.

Thanks,
Kathy

We just embarked in Vancouver last September for Hawaii cruise. We stayed at the Pan-Pacific, so we were right there. The bellboy came up and took our luggage to the pier for us, which was convienent. Once we got down to the pier, we were on the ship in less than an hour. Customs lines were long, but moved quickly. Once we checked in, waited about another 20 mins until they let us board.

It only took us about 1/2 an hour to get aboard the Sapphire Princess in September. You can always grab a bite to eat when you get to the airport - there are a number of good food places as well as fast food like Burger King. That's what we do whenever we have to fly in early - just grab breakfast on the way through the terminal - usually while one of us waits for the baggage.
