So far the Pride is my favourite ship - easy to get around on. Not to big - not too small. In a word - perfect. Mazatlan, Puerta Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas all have something different to offer. If you like Horses then I would definately suggest Randis Happy Horses in Mazatlan for a ride on the beach. All three ports have great shops right at the pier or tender dock. Check out the shore excursions on the Carnival site - there is a lot of info on there.

If you have any specific questions please ask.

We were on the Pride in April. It is a great ship. The balcony cabins are great. There is a variety of things to do. The service and staff are great. Micheals is an awesome dining experience. The food is fantastic and there is a dance floor for a truely romantic evening, that you'd have a hard time matching on land. The pictures of the sunsets from our balcony were beautiful, however some of the pictures on board were a wee bit offensive. Two pictures in particular of a woman larger than life pleasuring herself was a little much for me. The rest, though revealing were in good taste. (David does not wear a fig leaf.). In PV there are just too many great tour to choose from. If you want to do something adventurest that you'll talk about for years try the canopy tour. What a trip, though very saftey concieous guides. Have a wonderful cruise.

Default We are sailing on the Pride in March...

We sailed on the Spirit (same layout) and loved it.

We are looking forward to riding horses with Randi in Mazatlan, doing the Canopy Tour at Los D Vernos in PV and grabbing a water taxi to Melina in Cabo. None of these are through Carnival's excursions. Randi nor the Canopy tour require any credit card information. You simply make a reservation on-line and pay cash for the excursion when you get there.

Randi's horses is $45 a person. LDV Canopy is $72 (approx).

I can not give you any advice about the weather that time of year. I know that the first couple of days will be cool for us in March, so I can't imagine that December will be any warmer. I usually check www.weather.com for the 10 day forecast at each port 10 days before we cruise.

Read the reviews but remember that they are still just someone's opinion. And we all know about opinions...they are like fannys...everyone has one and usually they all stink to some degree.

Have a great cruise!
