How much to rent a suit and what does that include?
Going on the Liberty FEB. 18 and am thinking of renting a suit for the formal nights. It would save space packing. Can anyone tell me what it would cost and what is included ( shoes, shirt, pants ? ) . Do you rent for the whole week or just the formal nights? Thanks for any help.
Rental does save on packing but if you are going to cruise a number of times it is worth considering purchasing. You can buy a good quality tuxedo and have it tailored for anywhere from $400 and up. Many people have purchased them for less. Tuxedo rental shops have closeouts for great deals on some great items. Unless you lose or gain a significant amount of weight you can wear them for many cruises. It's just something to consider but it's also another major expense for "this" cruise.
Have a great time on Liberty!!!!
Take care and you'll look great in the tuxedo.

Another way we save "packing" a suit and trying to keep it nice is to bring it in our carry on folded in a bag and as soon as we get in our cabin put it in their laundry bag for dry cleaning. It is around $8. It is delivered to our cabin the next afternoon in plenty of time for our first formal night. Work for us.

So that my boyfriend doesn't have to go through that terribly expensive process, we agree that he will wear a black suit on the formal night and a navy blue or gray one for the semiformal. I dress accordingly (no sequins with the black suit....sequins require a tux in my opinion....and I don't want the expense of buying a fancy fancy dress anyway. It works out for us and the black suit really does look fancy enough for the formal night. He looks great, in fact
