Carnival Triumph, statroom 6401, Good or bad location

We are booked into rom 6401 in April. Looks like it is right over world's way on the starboard side. Anyone stayed in this area and is it noisy?

Hey Popeye.

It looks like you have a quiet area, no cabins across from you only beside you and you're on the starboard side. We were on the Triumph in early April last year in cabin 2324. You're going to have a great time. The water slide is a blast. Are you going Western Caribbean or Eastern Caribbean? We went Western and walked up Dunns River Falls in Jamaica.

Hey Popeye,

I stayed in room 6375 and I found it noisy from the Casino and bar below. I usually book a room at least one deck higher, but this trip was a gift so I didn’t complain at all. I just stay longer in the Casino and bar and enjoy myself until the early hours. You are staying in 6401 and I don’t think that you have any problems with the noise. There is a public laundry room across your room, but I don’t think that is a problem either.

Thanks for the info folks. We are going eastern. I have been all the ports before, except ST Martin, allthough on my previous cruises, my ship had a gun on the front of it and no one brought me my meals

25 years + in the navy and still counting.

I will let you know in a couple weeks we are in 6414 and my friends are in 6406 on Feb 25th.
