Default Thanksgiving week

Are there usually many children on board during Thanksgiving? I've only cruised during January when there are very few on board and I'm wondering if Thanksgiving will be equivalent to a school vacation week.

There are LOTS of families cruising at Thanksgiving, and therefore LOTS of kids.
I've cruised over Thanksgiving several times, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere onboard.

Good! I'm pulling my kids out of school for 2 days, but wasn't sure if others would do the same.

Default Go for it!!!

We went on the Victory last Thanksgiving and it was fantastic! My daughter is in 1st Grade so we arranged with her teacher to do extra homework leading up to the cruise. My son is only 3 so it wasn't an issue with him.

It was so worth it. We did the western cruise. We were in Grand Cayman on Thanksgiving and did the See & Sea Island tour. It was funny because we were the only Americans on the tour. We live in the Florida Keys so by the time this trip came we were ready to get away from all the hurricane craziness. We didn't go to Cozumel because Wilma had just wiped it out as she had hit some areas of the Keys hard also. November is usually good because it is the end of hurricane season.
