Default size of bunks

Hi - I've never cruised with Carnival and was wondering if anyone can tell me how big the pull down bunks are when you add a third or fourth person to your cabin? I have a 16 year old boy and want to be sure he'll be able to sleep in one of those before I book it. We're considering the Victory to Canada and Halifax this July. Anybody do that one?

Default bunk size

The bunks that pull down from the ceiling are just twin or single size. I'm sure if he will fit just fine.

The bunk is slightly smaller then a normal single bed, atleast that is my opinion. I slept in a bunk on the Valor and I thought it was enough room.

I just came back from a cruise on the Celebration and slept in one of the bunks and it was fine. The bed slept as well as the regular beds. My only complaint was that the ladder was to narrow but other than that it was fine. Have fun!

Had a room with the pull down bed with our 18 yr. son. He was 6ft. tall and had no problems. If he's like most teenage boys, he will be running around half the night and will only use that bed when he can't stay awake another second.
Your son will not have a problem. My husband said he enjoyed having him in the room with us, hadn't slept in the same room since he was a little boy. Most nights, we would already be in bed when he came in, and after he settled down in his bunk, he would start talking about what he had been doing that evening...kinda nice! Enjoy this time...he'll be married and gone before you know it.
