Default Liberty in St. Thomas, Havensight or Crown Bay???

Does anyone know if the Liberty docks at Havensight or Crown Bay? I read on another cruise sight she has been docking at Crown Bay. They say it is far from everything? My ? is if we do dock there, do we get a taxi and ask them to take us to the skyride?? Also, we are doing a 12:30 excursion, where will we meet for that--doing the BOB excursion?? Thanks for all the info. Just didn't want to miss doing the tram. We were planning on that in the a.m but will we have to keep going back and forth? Could be expensive with taxis!! Thanks for any info!!!

The Liberty docks in Crown Bay, not Havensight. If you have a ship's shore excursion, you will meet at the pier in Crown Bay, no worries about that and then you head off on your excursion. It is a $4 per person taxi ride to downtown to shop - you can have them drop you off at the base of the tram at Paradise Point probably for a dollar or so more - there is a sign with taxi fares posted at the entrance/exit to the dock area in Crown Bay. Yes, there are no shops there yet, but they are being built (on Island Time, mon!)

How long does it take to get from Crown Point to the tram??? We want to make sure we have plenty of time to get back to the dock for our excursion. Thank you!

It all depends on the traffic in Charlotte Amalie which is brutal when ships are in port......we were in when there were 5 ships in port and it took over half an hour to get from one end of Charlotte Amalie (near Havensight) to Crown Bay.

We docked at Havensight in November on the Liberty, so I don't think there is a definite answer to your question. It would appear to vary.
