Default Airboat rides - precruise Miami

ok - I am posting this here as well.....already posted in the destinations board.

We are going to be in Miami 2 days prior to our cruise in November. We are looking to take an airboat ride through the everglades and maybe visit an aligator farm or something like that. Has anyone done this?
Recommendations or reviews?

thanks everyone!! Happy Sailing....

Yes...done it several times while in Miami...I suggest you go out towards the Miccosukee Indian Reservation...They are not that expensive

Yes, my wife and I did that last year before our cruise. We stayed at the Muskogee Indian Resort and Casino. I think that is the correct spelling. We did spend the afternoon down there doing an airboat ride and walking thru one of the farms. We went to the same area as the previous post recommended. I was pretty nice all in all. It by no stretch was jaw dropping but very enjoyable. We would recommend it to anyone for something to do for an afternoon. It was also very educational which is always nice. Have a great cruise. We leave tomorrow!

We have enjoyed the airboat rides in the glades. Ask your driver to do some 360s. That will pull the thrill level up a notch or two. Enjoy.
