Default DINING QUESTION

On the Valor this weekend. My question is.......we are going with my brohter and his wife (through seperate travel agents) and are wondering what is the best way to get the same dining time and a table for 4?

Is just seeing the maitre'd (spelling) once on board going to do the trick?
And will a little gratuity help the matter any?

Thanks,

RAY

Go to the maitre 'D on the first day (afternoon) and he will fix it for you instantly, no problems at all.

Happy sailing!

You really should have had your travel agents cross reference your bookings. They could have done this in advance.

Since it sounds as if that didn't happen. Find out where the Maitre D is the first day onboard. He'll do his best to help, and a tip likely won't be necessary.

Like Kuki said, next time have your TA's cross reference your bookings. I have done it several times with friends and family and we always ended up at the same table.

Too late for you, but maybe could help someone else.

This is called "linking bookings". When this is done, you are assured of having the same dining assignment.

Even when using separate booking agencies, one of them can let Carnival know that the two bookings (you must tell them both booking numbers) are linked.

Same thing with us, my brother booked with a different agent, we called carnival direct, gave them our booking numbers and they cross reference our bookings right over the phone, now we won't have to worry and running to the dining room in hopes that we can sit together when we board the ship, your travel agent can also call and cross reference the rooms for you as long as you have your brothers booking number.
