DH and I will celebrate our first anniversary while on our ccl cruise, and we want to take a bottle (or three) of the wine we had at our wedding-- just to drink in our stateroom (we'll have room service that night

How many bottles can we take? Also, can we bring a corkscrew?? Can we put it in our carry-on luggage?? Our anniversary is the first day of the cruise.

Carnival's new policy is one bottle of wine per passenger can be brought on at embarkation only. Since a corkscrew could be considered a 'weapon', I wouldn't do that. Ask your cabin steward for a corkscrew. I've done that a couple of times, and have rec'd a Carnival logo corkscrew. Nice little souvenier.

As far as having your anniversary dinner in your cabin - you do know that there's no hot food delivered to the cabins, right? I personally wouldn't want to have sandwiches for an anniversary dinner, but......congrats, anyway! Hope y'all have a wonderful anniversary cruise.

Yes,no problem sevaral bottles of wine and no problem with corkscrew as you have to have way of opening unless you are bringing boxed or screw top bottles and I seriously doubt this is the scenario.Have a great cruise and get room service for nice glasses or pick up at any bar on the ship.
