This was new to me. You can order bottles of whatever you like from the Bon Voyage service and it will be delivered to your room the day you board. Yes it is a bit more than if you bought it at home. Most prices are 40.00 for 1 ltr. We ordered Johnnie Walker Red and Absolut Vodka and it was 40 for each. That is about 10.00 more since what you get here is only 750ml. Anyway don't have to worry about it breaking and everything smelling or the fear of it being found It is not available on there website you must call. Had a hard time getting through and when I got a bit frustrated they gave me the direct line. 1-800-438-6744 ext. 70039

I didn't know that Carnival was offering this but I am glad to know they are. I know that Princess and Holland America offered this. Princess' and HAL's prices are a bit lower but I still like having the ability to pre-order liquor.

I have a hard time with this pricing when you can buy Absolut in St Martin for $6.95 a liter. In addition the price is less than $10 in the liquor store on the ship. This is the same type structure they use on their wine list in the dining room.Believe I know what you are trying to Accomplish here but ther are other ways.
yes it is cheaper in St Martins but you can't take it to your room. I know there are ways but don't want the hassle. This is just to let people know it is offered. And yes the prices are higher but everything is on the ship. You say it is $10.00 higher then in their shops. Maybe that is there "corking fee" I know when we took RCL we were able to buy from the shops and pay a fee approx 9.95 and take it to our rooms. This maybe Carnivals way of charging it. It just a extra tip you can't find on their website.
And it works, not that I doubted your word, but everything you read says you cannot have alcohol, except wine, in your room. I called the number you gave and within 5 minutes I ordered a bottle Tangueray Gin, about twice the price, but I don't have to smuggle it aboard. Keeps my integrity above board.
