Default How many drinks can you bring?

I have heard lots of talk about bringing some drinks (coke, water) onboard with you. I called Carnival to ask how many were allowed they said a couple like 2 or 3. I've read that some people bring a couple cases. I will be 24 weeks pregnant at the time of our cruise, I hope I can bring more than a couple bottles of water.

Our last cruise I brought a case of soda. We split it up among the four of us and no one questioned it.

Here's a thought that I've heard other people use.

Go to a second hand store, salvation army, ect. and purchase an old suitcase for a couple of bucks. Put a case or so of bottled water in the suitcase, tag it and sent it in as luggage. On the last night of the cruise set it outside your cabin with a note taped on it that says "trash please disgard". That way you don't have to carry the old suitcase off. I have never done this but I have heard of people doing this.

my1stcruise,
We have always brought a 12 pack of water and soda in our carry on. Then we use this room for souvenirs at the end of the cruise. Some people put it in their checked luggage but I've heard and seen stories of cans bursting and ruining clothes, shoes, etc.

you do not need to bring aboard a quantity of bottled water. The water from the tap is very good, very pure, tastes better than some of the bottled water you can buy. Bring aboard a couple of bottles of water in your carry-on and refill them as needed from the tap. Ask for ice to chill the water as the water from the tap is not cold.
The cruise line will allow you to bring aboard a reasonable quantity of soda that they do not sell. The cruise lines sell Coke products.
Replenish your supply on the islands.

I picked up a couple of pops at each port if I needed it. I don't drink the stuff much but just a few worked out just fine.

We picked up a few sodas in other ports also but they just don't taste the same. We have brought on many "Coke" products with no problems.

As long as semi trailer truck doesn't pull up to unload your drinks you can take pretty much as much soda and water as you like.

We've often packed it in a sports duffle bag... on its own, and let the porters deliver it to the cabin, rather than lugging ourselves.
