Miami Hotel & Shuttle for Victory

Hi - we are joining Carnival Victory in May and will be flying in from the UK arriving on the Saturday night to sail Sunday afternoon. Could anyone help with a good mid range hotel, which offers either shuttle from the airport to the hotel and/or to the pier the next day. Last time we cruised, we stayed a couple of days before so had a car, this time we do not arrive until 9.30pm so it is not worth it. Thank you. :)

I've heard that the Holiday Inn in downtown Miami has shuttles to the pier, or at least used to. If you can't find a hotel with a shuttle, there are plenty of good hotels in downtown Miami that are just a $6 cab ride from the pier.

Thank you very much for the infomation - I will check out the Holiday Inn, I just did not recall it was so close to the Pier from Down Town - so we can get a taxi no problem. Thank you.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami last October and they did not have a shuttle service ...

You can get a taxi from the Airport for less then $30 with tip, it is a flat rate, to the hotel. Then a taxi from the hotel to the Port for $10.

We found this to be a great option and it allowed us to have a great view in the morning of the ships before departing to the Port.

There is also a Holiday Inn in Miami called Miami International Airport the address is 1111 SO ROYAL POINCIANA BLVD. They offer free aiport shuttle from MIA and free shuttle to the port. We stayed there last July.
