Wife and I were on the Victory 12/05, had a great time. As it was Christmas week, it was reported that there was 1083 kids under 18 onboard, never knew it until the CD mentioned it one night. Service was great, missed GC due to weather, but just meant another day at sea which is ok with me. You will have a great time on her, have fun.

Thanks! We expect the same amount of kids (or young adults) as it is spring vaca while we will be on.

Default victory

Just got back on Sunday Mar 5th, I have been trying to get my review in, but it will be long and I need the time to do it. It was our first cruise and no disappointments !!! It was great. Look for the review soon, I am already feeling the withdrawal

Default Victory best ,worst

3 best things. The staff they were all helpfull and cheerful

The amount of activities on the ship.

All the different nationalities, no where else can you go and meet people from all over the world and engage in conversation.

Food was plentiful and a wide Variety

spacious Ocean view cabin

Worst, The lack of enforcement of the smoking areas. Even being ex smoker it was terrible. We would walk down some hallways and smell it or get it wafting from the deck while laying out.

Default hmmmmm

Wow I sailed in October of 2005 ( last year) and there was not a problem with kids...maybe because of the time of year..and actually I am a mom and did not mind hearing the kids laughing and in the pool..heck its A vacation!
Also the smoking I guess we were blessed to not have smelled the smoke..our room was smoke free and smelled wonderful..the halls were clean and fresh..I will say that one time we went on the wrong floor and walked by an open cabin being cleaned and it did smell of smoke...but thats it luckily...Hope you have a great time..and if your room smells I AM SURE the room attendant will come in and clean it for you..change your sheets whatever they can do..they are great, Take care

my first time on the victory will be in sept for my new england/canada cruise. i cant wait. i am anxious to know if it is easy to find the hot tubs and if they are constantly full. the regular pool will not be a '' must '' for us, but being in the hot-tub is. is it true that there are 7 of them on board ?

cant wait to get on here.

Default HOT TUBS....

I FORGOT!!! Yes the hot tubs...there are three right next to eachother..and one more solo one...they really seem to ALWAYS be full..unless you go in them when everyone is in port..or maybe late at night sometimes..I guess thats just the way it is BUTTTT the hot tub in the fitness center IS AWESOME.. never seemed to be full...thats the one I went to when I wanted to relax. Also GO TO THE SPA...they offer great deals on facials manicures massages etc...I treated myself..and wow how professional they are..I loved it.

Also check out the steam sauna in the gym area, so relaxing. The steam and dry sauna have ceiling to floor windows looking out to sea.

JoannFLA...why are you telling everyone about the "secret" hot tubs in the gymnasium area - you're going to ruin it. Ok, kidding. Good advice - this is one of the best places to relax. Yes, the hot tubs on deck are typically full. Have a great time. The Victory is a great ship - I've been 4 times!
