Had this on the Liberty, heard minimal noise(voices etc.). Just make sure they don't try to leave their balcony door open this will create an annoying suction in your room. I called the purser and they resolved the problem.
Just found out we have an adjoining cabin. Can anyone advise if you hear more noise from the neigboring cabin that you would if you had a regular cabin?
This may sound stupid, but how did you find out you had an adjoining cabin? We are traveling April 3 on the Elation and have two rooms side by side. I didn't know they had adjoining rooms on cruise ships! I would like to find out if we do!
until we cruise!!

You can the check the deck plans on Carnival.com for the Elation. I did, and it doesn't look like there are any adjoining cabins on this ship.
Just for comparison, I looked at the Liberty deck plans. They do have adjoining cabins marked with something that looks like "sideways" tear drop.
Have a wonderful cruise!
