Default Legend suites! #6163 good or bad?

We're cruising soon, just got our cabin number, we'd done a suite guarantee. We got suite 6163.

Anybody have any input on this? Is it a good/bad/soso one? It is on the empress deck. I can't remember which deck we were on last time, but it was fine. (I've lost track after 5 cruises.)

We're traveling with a 22 month old so we went for a bigger cabin.
Any body with an thought would be great!
Thanks,
Summer

Default #6163 on sister ship Miracle & pool tip for toddler

We are on sister ship Miracle April 2nd and have the exact cabin number. So will take plenty of photos.

I have sailed in a mini suite last cruise and besides the room, there is so much more storage space. The bathroom in Destiny had an actual medicine cabinet, a dressing area and makeup table vanity, there is a sliding door tub/shower too.
There is a photo someone posted of the this Miracle cabin that I cannot locate. I know the view when sitting on the balcony doesn't appear as good as last one in a minor way. Our last cruise when you looked out you saw ocean, and straight down the waves from the side of the ship. This photo showed that we are looking down at top of lifeboats ;-( but if look straight out view is ocean.

Since you are traveling with nearly two year old (likely not potty trained) I read they cannot use ships pools. I did read one poster brought along a small blow up pool for out on pool deck. (Not sure how they filled it -maybe a small pail? ) I am not sure of a cost of a cheap small pool, and packability but something to think about. To me it may be worth it and would consider the pool a leave it on ship item.
I'd also bring beach toys from say the dollar store for the same reason (cheap).

Hm, didn't know about the lifeboats above us. Ah well, we had a balcony last time and it was nice. The main reason we got a suite this time is b/c of her being almost 2, more active, and more space would be nice.

This is our second cruise with our daughter so I think we're much better prepared this time go round. We actually bought a swim diaper and we did take her in the pool and no one said anything. I know they say not to for sanitary reasons, but I know my daughter's "schedule" and just didn't go in the pool at that time.

We're going April 2nd as well, 8 nighter out of Ft. Lauderdale to the southern carib. Can't wait!

I've heard so much about all the other boats but not much about the legend.

Have a great cruise!

Default lifeboat view

clarification--
the lifeboats are below us--so should see top of them when looking down towards ocean. I was curious of Valor's port schedule, we will be on Miracle at the sametime--only difference in schedule is Wed.
So unknowingly we may pass eachother on the street or beach!
Any excursions ship/private planned??

Nope no plans yet, I still need to "map" all that out, I plan on using some of the advice a lady who wrote an article for the family travel part of this website. She has some great suggestions for traveling with kids and which beaches and all to go to.

I'm kind of disappointed about the lifeboats, I love looking down and seeing the water! Ah well. Still have the suite!

This is our first time for the southern carib. We've done east and west and mexico multiple times.

How is embarkation different with a suite? Is disembarkation different as well? I've always though disembarking was harder than embarking! We usually get there early and just breeze right on through.

Embarkation with a suite means you in the Skippers Club. VIP You usually have a separate area where you get a lounge and personal service. NO LINE. Leave your VIP tags on your suitcases. When your color gets called for Disembarking. They call the VIP tag in the first few groups to disembark. Enjoy it. Its great.

Default VIP Tags?

We sailed Cat 11 and enjoyed the Skipper's Club last cruise :-)
However I do not recall any VIP tags and definitely no difference in disembarking.
Are there tags we are supposed to get?
Does Cat 11 have any advantages for tendering tickets or priority?
Just want to be informed.

We got silver tags with our documents and that was VIP for the cruise I was on.

That doesn't get you any other perks on the ship with tendering or things like that as far as I know.
