Cruise Compete ?

Yes, I did this for a So.Caribbean on Destiny and a BL with tax, etc. was 804.00--My carnival rep gave me 896.00. I have till Dec. to cancel since not going till Feb. 07. I guess my ? is how reliable is cruise compete??? My rep says I will more than likely get an upgrade,etc. but 92.00 more a person could be a lot toward plane fare!! Seems cruise compete will give you the better price if found before your final payment so no advantage there--some say if after the final payment they(Cruise line) will give you ship credit etc, any truth to that. Thank you for any information. Never have used anyone except Priceline on one cruise and everything was fine with them!!! Thanks!

I have used them for all 3 of my cruises, didn't get an upgrade but price was more important to me. Never had any problems with them, thought the service was great and I got really good bargains.

I did it, called and talked to Carnival and Bless her heart she tried and I was on hold forever but just couldn't match. For 74.00 more I went from a BL guarantee to the exact cabin on the Empress deck(7230), insurance, and the bonus of 3 day/2 night stay at a hotel. . I was just leary of the guarantee, didn't want to be stuck somewhere we would hate, being this our 1st balcony. Call her back to cancel and she didn't blame me one bit. Said I found a great deal. Hope so!! She said cat. 8A would have been 52.00 more than what we paid for all the extras and an 8B!!!! Yahoo!!
